5 TIPS TO GET YOUR HEALTH BACK ON TRACK

Feeling blah... it's time to get back on track.

Now that 2018 is well on its way, the parties, holidays and indulgences are well behind us, it's time to check in with our bodies and get back on track. Alcohol, late nights, sugar and processed food can leave you feeling lethargic, bloated and well, pretty average, so here are five easy tips to help you get back on track.

1. HYDRATE
Aim for three litres of good quality water per day, plus an extra litre for every hour of exercise you do. To kick start your metabolism, squeeze lemon into warm water and consumer before meals. To up your detox game mix Edible MUD with water or a smoothie first thing in the morning to help extract toxins and build up from your gut lining.

2. CATCH UP ON ZZZ's
To ensure a solid night's sleep, make sure you schedule enough time for sleep. Eight or more hours is ideal for most adults. To get quality sleep put your phone (and all devices) down at least an hour before bed time, dim the lights as the sun goes down, invest in a good quality eye mask and try a 10 minute mediation as part of your evening routine.

3. PAMPER YO'SELF
Do anything to make yourself feel good. Give your body a good scrub down, hop into a piping hot MUD Detox Bath, slather on a hair mask and then butter up your skin with coconut oil. You'll feel a million bucks.

4. EAT MORE GREENS
Green veggies are loaded with vitamins and minerals plus they have added detoxification benefits as they activate your detox pathways. Aim to have 1-2 cups of leafy greens with every meal. You could have scrambled eggs with spinach for breakie, a massive green salad for lunch and a rainbow nourish bowl, with some wild caught fish for dinner. Added points for squeezing lemon on every meal.

5. MOVE YOUR BODY
Time to work up a sweat. Sweating is one of the easiest ways to remove toxins from your body, fire up your metabolism and generate those happy endorphins. Smash out a 45 minute HIIT session, go for a walk in nature, relax in an infrared sauna or get your girls together for a spin class. As long as your clothes are wet you'll know it's working.

Happy detoxing,
